Use of directed evolution and metabolic engineering to improve the development and characterization of novel AAV capsids

Project:

My work focuses on engineering novel AAV capsids with enhanced transduction properties towards cells in the peripheral nervous system. In addition, I am also developing new sequencing methodologies for better characterization of diverse gene libraries that overcomes limitations with current technologies.
