Project Title:

Next-Generation Directed Evolution Strategies for DNA Virus-Based Gene Delivery Systems

Project Description:

In the dawning age of personalized medicine, engineered viruses have risen as powerful tools to deliver genetic cargoes to cells. Despite recent promising successes, challenges such as insufficient delivery efficiency and specificity, cargo coding capacity, and manufacturing remain. My current research involves the development and utilization of fundamentally novel approaches to engineer solutions to such problems.
